The cheese round is a staple during the festive period often served as a starter or post-dinner treat.
While camembert is traditionally baked in the oven until molten at its core, one foodie has found a way to get the same perfect results in an air fryer.
Nathan Anthony, better known on TikTok as @boredoflunch took to the video-sharing platform to show off how he cooks a delicious camembert in just 12 minutes.
Nate uploaded his video with the caption “Airfryer Baked Camembert”.
He said: “This air fryer baked camembert is one of those recipes that you need to try this Christmas”.

The slow cooker and air fryer enthusiast kept his recipe extremely straightforward, so it’s easy to adjust to suit anyone’s palette.
Simply remove the cheese from its packaging but keep it in the box, then top with flavoursome ingredients.
Nathan’s camembert was covered in green herbs and a sprinkling of red chilli, though he noted that most things will work.

He explained: “You can top the cheese with whatever you like – I use some truffle oil, honey, chilli and some fresh herbs.”
To cook the cheese, just add it to the air fryer for 12 minutes at 160C until warm and gooey.
Nathan said: “And that is it. Get your crusty bread, dip in and enjoy. You could share it but you’ll lose all self control and eat it all to yourself.”
The video garnered some 465 comments from impressed TikTok users, many of which praised its “delicious appearance”.
One person wrote: “It looks so good”, while another revealed that they had their “Christmas eve dinner sorted”, adding that they wouldn’t be sharing the cheesy treat.
A third opined: “I always add some garlic under the skin – that’s also an amazing twist on this.”
