Many people claim to have the best method for homemade Yorkshire puddings but they don\u2019t get better than a recipe by a Yorkshire man himself.<\/p>\n
Sharing his \u201clegendary\u201d recipe on his website, chef James Martin claimed that it\u2019s simple to master.<\/p>\n
However, the non-negotiables for success include good quality ingredients, specifically when it comes to flour.<\/p>\n
James said: \u201cWhen you cook the Yorkshires ensure they are the only thing in the oven as the temperature needs to be hot to cook them properly!\u201d<\/p>\n
They don\u2019t have to be served with a Sunday roast either, in fact, they make the best base to be filled with sausages, vegetables and gravy, or slathered in jam as a sweet dessert.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n To make the batter, crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk then add in the sifted flour.<\/p>\n Slowly add the milk while continually mixing all the ingredients together in the bowl.<\/p>\n Once combined, cover the bowl and allow the batter to rest\u00a0in the fridge\u00a0overnight.<\/p>\n When it comes to cooking the puddings the following day, prepare the moulds by putting the dripping into them and preheat the oven to 220C.<\/p>\n Place the dishes in the oven until smoking hot, then remove and gently mix\u00a0the batter into the trays\u00a0or pour from a jug\u00a0and cook for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n After\u00a030 minutes, open the oven door for a couple of seconds to allow the steam in\u00a0the oven to escape.<\/p>\n Reduce the oven temperature to 200C and continue\u00a0cooking\u00a0for five to ten minutes more\u00a0until the Yorkshire puddings are \u201ccrisp and\u00a0golden\u201d.<\/p>\nYorkshire pudding recipe<\/h3>\n
