  1. 7 vendakkai (okra)
  2. 1 cup curd (fine beat it thin consistent)
  3. To fry
  4. 3 tablespoon Cooking oil
  5. 2 dry chilli
  6. 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
  7. 1/2 tablespoon channa dhal
  8. 1/2 tablespoon urad dhal
  9. 6 curry leaves
  10. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  11. Salt (as required)
  12. 1/4 tablespoon asefotida
  13. To grind
  14. 4 spoon grated coconut
  15. 1 tablespoon jeera
  16. 2 green chillies
  17. 1 piece ginger


  1. Cut vendakkai in to small piece. Add it to preheated pan by adding 2 tablespoon of oil. Fry it for 5 minutes.

  2. Take a mixer grinder and add the above ingredients to grind. Make it to fine paste by adding some water. Meantime take a cup of curd and best it well to thin consistency.

  3. Take a preheated pan, add oil, and the ingredients above (to fry). Add the grinded paste to it. Add the fried vendakkai. Keep it in low flame. Add some water and mix well. Add the beaten curd to finish.
