Svetlana's Borscht

I make this wonderful dish entirely in my slow cooker.

Ingredients

  1. 6 medium beetroot
  2. 2 carrot chopped
  3. 2 celery stalks chopped
  4. 2 waxy potatoes chopped
  5. 1/2 head red cabage finely sliced
  6. 2 onions finely chopped
  7. 4 garlic cloves crushed
  8. 4 tomatoes peeled and chopped
  9. 2 ltr beef stock

Steps

  1. Chop garlic, onion, potatoe, cabbage, celery and carrots and put in slow cooker.

  2. Add beetroot and beef and tomatoes

  3. Add beef stock and cook slow cook for 4 hours

  4. Serve with sour cream and dill
