Stroganoff, my way

Classic dish just tweaked.

Ingredients

  1. Stroganoff
  2. 1/2 cup Duxelles see my recipe
  3. 1-1/3 pound ground sirloin
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  6. 1 teaspoon ground mustard powder
  7. 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  8. 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  9. 1 pint beef broth
  10. 1/2 cup sour cream
  11. 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  12. 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  13. 2 tablespoons butter
  14. Pasta
  15. As needed water to boil pasta
  16. 1 tablespoons salt to boil pasta
  17. 12 ounces egg noodles extra wide
  18. 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil to boil pasta

Steps

  1. Boil the pasta.

  2. Brown the beef adding in the Duxelles. Add the spice and herbs to the beef.

  3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, and butter. When the butter is melted add the flour.

  4. Incorporate everything in the skillet stirring often till the flour is cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. Add the broth and stir allow to thicken. Remove from heat adding in the sour cream. Stir in well.

  6. Serve meat mixture over the noodles. I hope you enjoy!!!
