Steamed broccoli with chili and olive sauce


  1. 4 cups broccoli flora
  2. For sauce
  3. 3 garlic cloves, minced
  4. 1 tsp pickled red chilli
  5. 2 Tsp olives, chopped
  6. 1 Tsp starch
  7. 1/2 cup water for starch
  8. 2 Tsp olive oil
  9. to taste Fish sauce
  10. 1 Tsp Capers


  1. Steam broccoli in a steamer for 6 minutes.

  2. While waiting for the broccoli, heat up the wok and sautee garlic, olive and chilli until aromatic on high heat for about 30 second. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and once bubbling, turn down the heat and slowly add the 1/2 cup starch water. Adjust seasoning with fish sauce.

  3. Dump in cooked broccoli and toss until the dressing coated each flower really well. Serve immediately.
