Pickled Okra II and III

I got a deal of a flat of okra for $1.99


  1. Pickled okra II
  2. 1 quart okra whole
  3. 46 ounce sterilized jar
  4. 1 quart distilled white vinegar
  5. 1 tablespoon juniper berries
  6. 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  7. 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds
  8. Pickled okra III
  9. 3 clove garlic whole
  10. 1 quart distilled white vinegar
  11. 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  12. 1 tablespoon juniper berries
  13. 2 teaspoons dill weed
  14. 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds
  15. 1 quart okra whole


  1. Boil the vinegar. Wash the okra well. There is a lot of dirt and debris in fresh vegetables.

  2. To the okra II add all the ingredients then pour the boiling hot vinegar filling jar above the okra. Add lid and let cool.

  3. Okra III. Boil the vinegar add all the ingredients to the jar. Pour the boiling vinegar over the ingredients in the jar.

  4. Let cool when sealed these will keep like a regular jar of pickles. I hope you enjoy!!
