Oyster stew

Ingredients

  1. 1 pint oysters
  2. 1 quart scalded milk
  3. 3 tablespoons butter
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. Dash black pepper
  6. Celery salt

Steps

  1. Clean oysters and strain liquor

  2. Heat liquor to boiling point add oysters cook until edges curl which will be only few minutes

  3. Combine liquor scalded milk add seasoning butter serve hot

  4. Oysters do not require long cooking

  5. Add paprika
