In mt country there is a milk biscuit called Marie Regal and a milk brand called Bear Brand from Nestle and if you eat them together, they are like a match made in heaven.
Don’t worry if tou don’t have Marie Regal or Bear brand, use any kind of milk biscuit and milk brand that you have around.
Ingredients
- 250-300 ml milk
- 1/4 tsp konjac jelly powder
- 1/4 tsp agar powder
- 1/2 tbsp cacao powder or carob powder, I used regular cocoa
- 2 tbsp sugar or as you like
- Marie biscuits as desired
- Fla:
- 3 cans Bear Brand milk or 200 ml of milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp sugar or as you like
Steps
Heat the milk in a pan with a bery low heat.
Add in the jelly and agar powder as well as the sugar and cocoa powder.
Stir until melted and incorporated. Let it simmer. Turn off the heat after about 7 minutes.
Fla: pour the milk in a pan. Add in the sugar. Let it dissolve.
Wisk the egg yolk and corn flour. Add a bit of the fla. Mix again. Then add the egg yolk mixture to the pan. Stir to combine. Let it thicken.
To serve. Put some Marie biscuits in a mould or a cup. Pour in the pudding mixture. Do it again until the cup is almost full.
My way to serve the pudding. put one Marie on a serving plate, add a bit of the mixture then top with another Marie, so the pudding acts just like a ‘glue’ do it as many as you want. Let it chill in the fridge.
How I serve it: put some Marie crumbs on a plate. Put the pudding on top. Then pour on the fla. Enjoy.
