Fried Plantains

It’s a crunchy carb thing…


  1. 1 plantain, sliced
  2. Starch to coat
  3. Water to boil
  4. Oil to fry


  1. Slice about 1/2″ thick and boil for about 12 minutes. Let sit until yellow colored and I drain like this:

  2. Press them a bit to flatten out to about 1/4″ thick and coat with the starch. (You know I’m going to let these dry a bit…)

  3. Fry time!
