It’s a crunchy carb thing…
Ingredients
- 1 plantain, sliced
- Starch to coat
- Water to boil
- Oil to fry
Steps
Slice about 1/2″ thick and boil for about 12 minutes. Let sit until yellow colored and I drain like this:
Press them a bit to flatten out to about 1/4″ thick and coat with the starch. (You know I’m going to let these dry a bit…)
Fry time!
