BSR (Beef Steak Ranchero)


  1. 3/4 to 1 lb per person Any beef roast (not too marbled)
  2. 2-3 per lb of meat Jalapeño
  3. 1-2 per lb of meat Roma tomatoes
  4. 3/4 lb per lb of meat canned tomatillos
  5. 1/2 per lb of meat White onion
  6. 1/5 bushel per lb of meat Cilantro
  7. to taste Mix garlic and steak seasoning and salt
  8. 1 per lb of meat bell pepper


  1. Cube up the roast and put in a crockpot. Throw all ingredients in (except tomatillos)

  2. Cook 4-5 hours (if raw) just at a boil (don’t add water)

  3. Tomatillos: 30 minutes prior to finishing drain and use a blender and add to pot. (Add to taste)

  4. Serve with tortilla, rice, beans
