- 1 & 1/3 cup butter, salted
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 & 1/2 tsp baking powder
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs and almond extract and mix well
Combine flour and baking powder in separate bowl, whisk together. Add whisked mixture to wet ingredients slowly and mix well.
Spear into two 8 inch round cake pans (add partchment to the bottom for non stick solution)
Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
