Beef Stroganoff

Fairly quick to make, but yummmmm!

Ingredients

  1. (1 1/2) Lbs Top sirloin steak
  2. Chives, chopped
  3. (1) Box mushrooms
  4. (1) Onion chopped
  5. (2) Cups beef broth
  6. (1) Tbsp mustard
  7. (8) Ozs Egg noodles
  8. (3) Tbsp flour
  9. Salt
  10. Pepper
  11. (3) Tbsp butter
  12. (8) ozs Sour cream

Steps

  1. Cut steak meat into strips.

  2. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat skillet on high with 2 Tbsp of oil. Brown meat, remove and set aside.

  4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter. Fry onion for one minute,add mushrooms. Fry until brown.

  5. Add flour and stir for 1 minute.

  6. Add broth, continue stiriing. Add sour cream and mustard. Continue stiriing until well incorporated.

  7. Keep heat on medium, simmer until thickens.

  8. Add meat back to the sauce and simmer 5 more minutes.

  9. Serve over cooked egg noodles and or potatoes. I usually use both.

  10. Enjoy!
