Baked Korean Chicken Wings

I ? Korean food so so much although I’m not Korean ? I always have Korean ingredients in my kitchen and I also follow a lot of Korean food bloggers. One of the recipes that I found and recooked is this Baked Korean Chicken Wings. It’s very easy and it tastes so delicious ? Please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary if you like my recipes ??


  1. 1 kg chicken wings
  2. 250 ml whole milk
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  5. 1 Tbsp dried rosemary leaves
  6. toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
  7. Sauce ingredients: (mix together in a bowl)
  8. 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  9. 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  10. 1 Tbsp honey
  11. 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  12. 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  13. 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  14. 1 Tbsp minced garlics


  1. In a big bowl, mix together chicken wings, milk, salt, black pepper powder, and rosemary leaves.

  2. Cover the bowl and leave it in the fridge for about 20 minutes. Drain off the milk (leave the rosemary residue on the chicken as it will spread nice aroma once it’s baked).

  3. Put the chicken and the sauce in a large zipper lock bag. Seal the bag. Shake and massage the chicken so that the sauce smears well into the chicken. Put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

  4. Place the chicken on an oven tray lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat. Make sure they’re not stacked up on top of each other.

  5. Bake the chicken in a preheated 240 C/464 F oven for 10 minutes. Take out the tray. Turn over the chicken wings. Bake again for another 10 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and the green onions before serving.
