Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding is just around the corner. And though there are still a few key facts the public doesn’t know about the big day, such as who is making Meghan’s wedding dress and who will be her maid of honor, there are a few things we know that other soon-to-be brides can take note of.
Here’s a quick breakdown of which vendors are confirmed to be taking part in the big day and how all brides and grooms wanting a royal wedding touch can find them too.
The Invitations:
Harry and Meghan’s simple, but highly elegant, cream and gold invitations were officially sent out in March. The invitations were made by Lottie Small, according to Kensington Palace. Small only recently completed her apprenticeship. For the invitations she used British paper with American ink to honor both the bride and the groom.
“The wedding of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will be a truly special occasion and we are thrilled to be able to create equally special invitations for their guests,” Austen Kopley, managing director of the firm Barnard and Westwood, which Small works for, told TheTelegraph.
The Cake:
In late March the couple announced their cake would be crafted by California baker Claire Ptak, owner of the London-based bakery Violet Cakes.
According to Kensington Palace, Meghan And Harry “asked Claire to create a lemon elderflower cake that will incorporate the bright flavors of spring.”
Ptak already had a special relationship with the bride prior to her wedding planning. “Claire Ptak, who was raised in California, focuses on using seasonal and organic ingredients in her cakes,” Kensington said in a tweet. “Ms. Markle previously interviewed Chef Ptak for her former lifestyle website The Tig.”
The Photographer:
In April the pair announced their wedding photographer would be Alexi Lubomirski, who also happened to be the couple’s engagement photographer.

Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen to release this official portrait photograph to mark their engagement. The photograph was taken by photographer @alexilubomirski earlier this week at Frogmore House, Windsor.

“It was nutty. It was a very surreal end to the year because it came out of nowhere,” Lubomirski told E! News about shooting the royal couple’s engagement photos. “I think one of Meghan’s friends saw me on Instagram that I was in England during the announcement of the engagement and I was told later that this person said to her, ‘You should meet Alexi. He’s great. You’d love him’ and that was it.”
The Flowers:
In an Instagram post, Kensington Palace revealed that florist Philippa Craddock would be crafting the couple’s wedding flowers, including Meghan’s bridal bouquet.

Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen floral designer @philippacraddock to create the church flowers for their wedding? The displays in St George's Chapel will feature foliage from The Crown Estate and Windsor Great Park, and will use seasonal plants including branches of beech, birch and hornbeam, as well as white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves. The designs will reflect the wild and natural landscapes from which many of the plants will be drawn. The Royal Parks will also supply pollinator-friendly plants from their wildflower meadows. These plants provide a great habitat for bees and help to sustain healthy and biodiverse ecosystems. ?PA

The Entertainment:
This one is still a bit of a rumor, however, according Mel B, the Spice Girls might be on hand to serenade the newly-minted husband and wife.
In late February, Mel let it slip that she and the other Spice Girls are attending. When asked by the women on The Real if they were performing, Mel sighed, looked down, and wouldn’t confirm nor deny. Very suspicious.
While we wait for the official details on the reception band, we do have the 411 on the ceremony’s musical performers: “a number of well-known hymns and choral works … under the direction of James Vivian, Director of Music, St. George’s Chapel,” Kensington Palace revealed.
Performers will include the 23-boy, 12-lay clerk choir of St George’s Chapel, 19-year-old cello prodigy Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir, and an orchestra with Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas. Sounds absolutely lovely, but do they know the lyrics to “Wannabe?”
