One wrote: “Well done, you have done amazingly! Weight loss has taken years off you! Wish I had a bit of your willpower.”

“Looking good Mark,” another social media user commented.

A third added: “Wow, what a massive change. You have done so well Mark, you should be mega proud.”

Mark’s weight loss goals have been achieved through a long process.

The Chaser first opened up on his weight loss during an appearance on Loose Woman in 2019.

At the time, he revealed he first changed his diet plan because he was concerned about his health.

“It was the diabetes,” Mark told the presenters, “my colleague Paul Sinha also got the diagnosis and he rapidly lost two stone and he went from being diabetic to pre or non-diabetic.”

He explained he was worried about his health as Type 2 diabetes can be a dangerous condition.

To help him slim down, Mark cut sugar from his diet and revealed he had shed three stone and counting.

Cutting down the amount of sugar in a diet plan can help weight loss, according to experts at Healthline.com.

They stated: “Studies have consistently shown that reducing your intake of sugary drinks can help with weight loss.”

While it does not need to be cut out completely, cutting back on sugary drinks, processed foods and sweet treats could help promote weight loss.

“I’m waiting for my next check up and I’m hoping the figures are going to be better,” Mark added.

“I’m still eating very well – I’m just cutting out sugar because of the Type 2 diabetes.

“That and running around after an active two-year-old.”

Mark previously revealed he had lost four inches off his chest and six inches off his stomach in just six months.
