Riley Carter Millington weight loss: EastEnders star’s exercise behind transformation

Riley Carter Millington, who plays Kyle Slater on popular BBC drama EastEnders, has lost a considerable amount of weight. Riley posted a video of his impressive weight loss on his Twitter in May.

He appeared muscular and slim in the video, which showed him preparing to work out.

He wrote the caption: “Don’t say you can’t change.

“Because you can. It can take time but you will get there. I’m still on my journey but loving me more each day. #happy #Loveyourself #weightlosstransformation.”

Fans commented on the post congratulating him.

One said: “Wow you look different but amazing keep up the good work.”

“Wish I had the motivation! Looking good!” another said.

He spoke to Metro about how he achieved his weight loss at the time.

Riley said: “The weather has been amazing so I got back into running – my friend Colson lost a load of weight recently and told me he was wanting to run a marathon in a week.”

Exercise is important to losing weight, but diet is key.

Burning more calories than you take in is the formula to weight loss.

Eating lean meat and green vegetables can help with slimming down.

Another notable figure who has lost weight is Michelle Mone.

The lingerie mogul shrank from size 22 to 10 and lost 8 stone.

She said on Loose Women earlier this week: “I’ve taken on a full time nutritionist, a full time trainer. The reason I’ve done this is to help others.

“I was interested in the body and wellness and mental health.”

During lockdown Michelle has been working out three times a day.

She said: “We’ve been doing a lot outside because of the weather. We’ve been going for a 90min walk, a bit in the gym.”

Adele’s weight loss has also inspired fans after she lost around seven stone. 

It’s reported that she followed the Sirtfood diet.

Nutritionist Aidan Goggins, co-author of The Sirtfood Diet explains: “For the first three days, you restrict calorie intake to 1,000 calories a day, which includes drinking three sirtfood green juices plus eating a sirtfood-rich meal and snacking on antioxidant sirtfood bites.

“For the last four days, you up the calorie intake to 1,500 calories a day by consuming two sirtfood-rich meals and two green juices, cutting out the bites.”
