Britons may go on a walk, a run or a cycle each day, with another member of their family.
This is permitting they stay two metres away from one another.
Walking the dog does count as your one form of exercise a day.
But what exercise burns the most calories?
In terms of how many calories are burned, running is by far the most efficient.
Running can burn a whopping 965 calories per hour for a person weighing 185 lbs.
A person who weighs 155 lbs can burn 808 calories an hour and a 125 lbs person 652 calories an hour.
Cycling comes next, with someone who weighs 125 lbs burning 566 calories, and someone of 185 lbs burning up 710 lbs.

Calisthenics, which are body weight exercises performed at a fast, rhythmic pace. This can burn up to 710 lbs for someone who weighs 185 lbs.
Circuit training is next, with jump rope coming in afterwards.
Jogging can burn between 369 calories for a 125 lbs person and 587 calories for a 185 lbs person.
Hiking can burn between 340 calories for a 125 lbs person and 503 calories for a 185 lbs person.
