Catherine Tyldesley weight loss: Diet plan Coronation Street actress followed to lose 6st

Catherine Tyldesley lost six stone in a huge weight loss transformation. The Coronation Street actress once weighed 15 stone, wearing a size 22 at age 18.

She has since slimmed down to a size eight and recently wowed on Strictly Come Dancing.

In the past she revealed how working long shifts caused her to adopt unhealthy eating habits.

She said: “On night shoots there are a lot of pies and bacon sandwiches floating about but I took stuff with me.”

Now Catherine follows a strict fitness plan.

She works with Ultimate Performance and has been following a routine devised by the company.

The mum-of-one enjoys the gym and also follows a diet plan from the company.

She said in the past: “I think it’s about creating a lifestyle.

“If you want to sustain a healthy weight and feel good about yourself then you need to fuel your body with the right food.”

Catherine’s diet plan

Breakfast:

Omlette (3 eggs) with wilted spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Post-training:

Prawns or tuna with broccoli and four Brazil nuts.

Lunch:

Chicken and avocado salad with a side of grilled asparagus.

Snack:

Blueberries or an apple.

Dinner:

Homemade steak burgers with aubergine fries.

Sweet treat:

Cocotrients mixed into a coconut yogurt.

EastEnders Natalie Cassidy’s weight loss has also impressed many fans over the years.

Natalie appeared in EastEnders from 1993 to 2007 before reprising the role in 2010.

In 2018, she told Now magazine: “After playing Sonia in EastEnders for 12 years, I thought it’d be good to change my image.

“I was 10st 8lb when I started this diet, but it was my body mass index that scared me. I wasn’t just obese, I was off the scale.”
