Vegan burgers are pretty much taking over the internet right now, and we are super excited about this newest announcement—Costco is getting new vegan burgers of their own, courtesy of Don Lee Farms.
Last year, when Don Lee launched a veggie burger at Costco it performed really well in our side-by-side taste test against the Impossible and Beyond Burgers. And it was a hit with shoppers as well, selling more than a million in less than two months. So we can’t wait to see what’s next with this even more vegetable-forward option.
Stay up to date on what healthy means now.
Don Lee Farms shared a Facebook post last week, announcing the launch of the new organic, plant-based products coming to Costco—veggie burgers and veggie bites. These new vegan formulations—made from organic veggies and sunflower seeds—will replace Don Lee Farms’ current vegetarian offerings in Costco’s fresh deli section. The best part is, each patty packs in a two-thirds cup serving of vegetables!
Both products are not only vegan but also gluten-free and free from artificial ingredients. We aren’t sure of the nutritional information just yet, but we promise to keep you updated. These new burgers will be rolling into Costco stores this summer—just in time for grilling season!
