Stay up to date on what healthy means now.
Applegate Organics The Great Organic Blend Burger
Turkey burgers are a common diet-friendly staple for summer grilling, and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one from Applegate. This turkey-mushroom burger blend is made with both plant and lean animal protein for a seriously healthy main dish!
This burger is simply made with organic turkey, mushrooms, and rosemary extract. Each patty is 140 calories and has 8g fat, 2.5g sat fat, 60mg sodium, 1g carbs, 0g sugars, and 15g protein.
TeaRiot Organic Tea and Juice Blend
It’s too hot for our classic cup of joe (OK, not you cold brew), so want to try out this cold caffeinated tea from TeaRiot. With flavors like Matcha Rise, Hibiscus Glow, and Turmeric Shine, these all-natural beverages have caffeine and L-Theanine to keep you energized, without any added sugars.
TeaRiot’s line has 50-80 calories per beverage, 0g fat, 10-85mg sodium, 11-19g carbs, 7-14g sugars, and 0-1g protein. This just might be our answer to that 2 p.m. slump!
365 Plant-Based Cheese Alternatives
People went crazy for Whole Foods’ own line of vegan cheeses when they debuted in March, and now they are carried nationwide! Offered in cheddar and mozzarella shreds as well as cheddar and smoked gouda slices, we’re already dreaming of topping our burgers with these.
These cheese alternatives have gotten some rave reviews on Instagram. One said these were the best dairy-free cheeses they’ve ever had, while another said they melt perfectly like “real” cheese. Just a warning—they sell out quick, so pick ‘em up while you can this summer!

Lesser Evil Egg White Curls
We love Lesser Evil for their healthier versions of our favorite snacks, and we can’t wait to get our hands on their new line of egg white-based puffs! These flavors come in Himalyan Sea Salt, Huevos Rancheros, and Egg + Cheese, and we are just so intrigued. They are available exclusively at Whole Foods for now.
All three puffs have 130 calories per one-ounce serving and have 5-6g fat, 0.5g sat fat, 240-250mg sodium, 13-14g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, and 6g protein per serving. We advise pairing these with something that gives a little fiber boost, like salsa or hummus, for a well-rounded snack.
Split Nut Butter and Fruit Spread
Where have these little packs been all of our lives? These split pouches of various nut butters and fruity spreads are perfect for making easy summer sammies at the beach or spread on a rice cake as a tasty snack! And with flavors like Almond Butter & Blueberry and Cashew Butter & Sour Cherry, the traditional peanut butter and grape jelly combo just got a serious upgrade.
This line of nutty-fruity combo packs have similar nutritional profiles, so we’ll take a look at the Almond Butter & Strawberry packet for reference. It has 170 calories, 10g fat, 1g sat fat, 15g carbs, 2g fiber, 13g sugars, and 5g protein.
Ommegang Brut IPA
You’ve probably heard some beers refer to themselves as “the Champagne of beers,” but what about being Champagne and beer at the same time? New York-based Ommegang is brewing up a new kind of bubbly with the hoppy flavors you love about an IPA.
Ommegang Brut IPA has 140 calories and 4g carbs per 12-ounce bottle, according to the company’s website. It’s made with 6.3% alcohol and has pineapple, grapefruit, and resinous pine flavors with a crisp, dry finish. Sign us up!
From the Ground Up Cauliflower Tortilla Chips
While we don’t have a lot of details on this one, we are super excited to try out these new cauliflower-based chips! Made with cassava flour and other veggies, these are 2019’s answer to heavily fried, high-calorie tortilla chips.
This line offered by From the Ground Up comes in Sea Salt, Lime, and Nacho flavors, so naturally, we’re going to have to try them all! It’s important to note that while their products have seriously impressive ingredient lists, they’re also pretty high in sodium, so you’ll probably want to limit your portion sizes (don’t worry, you can still dip ‘em in salsa, queso, or guac!)
