Vlasic Pickle Chips Are Happening Very Soon

We’ve all been there: You come home from a long day at work, kiss your significant other and hand them a pickle bouquet, then sit down to enjoy a nice pickle sandwich for dinner. But wait! What will you eat as a side? Potato chips, even the dill-flavored ones, certainly won’t do.

Well, we have wonderful news for pickle enthusiasts the world over—Vlasic Pickle Chips are happening, and they’re happening soon.

“Pickles has [sic] always been a flavor that people have loved in snacks, whether it’s potato chips or even in our Bigs Vlasic dill sunflower seeds,” Thomas M. McGough, co-chief operating officer and executive vice-president of Conagra Brands, Inc., said in a statement.

You guys! Pickle chips! Chips made of pickles! This is incredible.

But that’s not all: Conagra is also releasing single-serve pickle slices, so you’ll never have to trouble yourself with a pesky jar again.

“Pickles themselves are a great snack, essentially no calories or carbs,” McGough said. “But eating pickles out of a conventional jar is inconvenient and messy, and pickle snacks are actually becoming a thing, particularly in [convenience] stores. So we’ve created Vlasic single-serve pickle slices and also a Vlasic vacuum-fried pickle chips that taste absolutely fantastic.”

The Vlasic Pickle Chips, which will come in single-serve 4.25 oz bags, are hitting shelves soon. We don’t have a release date yet, but don’t worry—we’ll keep you updated.
