READY IN:18minsYIELD:24cookies
INGREDIENTS
1cupsalted butter, softened
1cupgranulated sugar (I used half the sugar it called for, and they were plenty sweet)
1cuplight brown sugar, packed
2teaspoonspure vanilla extract
2largeeggs
3cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1⁄2teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonsea salt (I omitted when I made, plenty of salt in the butter)
2cupschocolate chips, chocolate chunks(I doubled the amount of chocolate when I made) or 2 cups chopped chocolate (I doubled the amount of chocolate when I made)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375.Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.(I found lining the pans with anything completely unnecessary–these are buttery and don’t stick to the pan whatsoever.).
In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.Set aside.
Cream together butter and sugars until combined.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
Add 12 oz package of chocolate chips and mix well.
Roll 2 to 3 tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown.
Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
