Take spam out of the can and place it in a small baking dish.
Insert the cloves into the spam loaf.
Spread the top and sides of the spam loaf with the apricot pineapple preserves. You could also use orange marmalade or1/2 cup brown sugar mixed with 1/2 cupcanned crushed pineapple packed in pineapple juiceand stud the spam loaf with whole cloves.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Slice and serve hot.Depending on your sides, you can get 4-6 servings from one can.
