DIY Wendy’s Frosty

Active Time: :5 Mins
Total Time: :1 Hour
Yield: :Serves 8 (serving size: about 1 cup)

Our homemade Frosty tastes just like the real deal and is easier than going to a drive-thru. It’s soft and super creamy with the super small ice crystals that put the Frosty in an entirely different category than ice cream or milkshakes. Serve it to the kids for a treat or at your next backyard cookout.

  • 1(14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1(8-oz.) container whipped topping
  • 2 quarts chocolate milk

How to Make It

Step 1

Stir together sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping in a large bowl. Gradually whisk in chocolate milk until well blended.

Step 2

Pour half of mixture into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. Refrigerate remaining mixture until first batch is complete or up to 1 week.

Step 3

Serve first batch immediately with a straw and a spoon. Repeat freezing process when ready to prepare remaining frosty mixture.
