With the weekend just around the corner, takeaways might be on the menu for many Britons. Deliveroo is giving all new customers £10 off their first order when they spend just £15 on food. Here’s how you can claim the handy deal.
To qualify for the offer, customers need to spend £15 or more when offering food.
This means that with the £10 off code, you could get your takeaway for just £5.
There are more than 140,000 takeaways and restaurants on the app to choose from as well as being able to spend the money on groceries too.
The code WEGETFOOD can be put into the promo area of the app where the discount will be deducted from the order.
If customers don’t currently have the app installed, it can easily be downloaded on Google Play or via the App Store.
It can also be redeemed through the Deliveroo website.
Customers need to be quick to claim the deal if they want to make huge savings on food.
The offer was announced last month and is valid for just another nine days, until February 28.

It was to celebrate the launch of a brand new campaign in line with the food delivery company’s commitment to delivering great food to their customers.
Their new campaign is called ‘Deliveroo Presents: The Year of Great Food’.
In other food news, rival app Just Eat is offering free delivery on McDonald’s for customers.
Only those living in London will be eligible, providing they spend a minimum of £5 per order.
The saving can be had up until 31 March and is unlimited, so Britons can order on the app as many times as they like with delivery totally free.
While this deal is only available in London, Just Eat has also slashed the delivery cost of many other popular takeaway chains.
This includes Greggs, KFC, Subway, Burger King, Pret and Starbucks where customers will only have to pay a £1.99 fee.
There are no codes that need to be put into the promo area of checkout as delivery costs will automatically be deducted.
Andrew Kenny, UK Managing Director at Just Eat said: “We know the last few months have been tough for our customers, so Just Eat is delighted to be able to deliver some extra joy by partnering with some of their favourite restaurants to offer fantastic delivery discounts for the next two months, making us the best value delivery service in the market.”
It was also announced yesterday that American fast food chain Wendy’s will be coming back to the UK this year.
The restaurant previously had 10 stores across the UK, but these closed 21 years ago.
Plans for Oxford and Reading stores are in the pipeline as well as talks of a London location.
Wendy’s is famous for its chicken nuggets, which come in both spicy and crispy varieties as well as offering breakfast options similar to McDonald’s.
