Set diced potatoes to a boil until tender (peel on recommended) Boil about 10-15 minutes.
Cream butter & sugar until fluffy & pale.
Slowly mix in eggs.
Rice or mash potatoes In a separate bowl, and stir in milk to cool down. Mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder & spices in a separate bowl. Gently mix flour mix, grated chocolate, nuts & potatoes. (Streaks of flour is okay, it helps it in the end).
Add batter to a buttered & floured 8×8 pan.
Bake @ 350 F for 45-55 minutes, check with a toothpick @ 40 minutes.
Frosting Instructions:
Wait to make frosting until cake is done.
Add all ingredients but vanilla, to a pan.
Keep on medium-low heat until melted, combined & thicker.
Remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Mix to desired thickness. .
