  • 4cups ripe cantaloupe, chopped and chilled
  • 12 cup silver tequila
  • 14 cuplime juice
  • 2tablespoonsorange liqueur
  • 1tablespoonagave nectar
  • 2tablespoonssugar

    DIRECTIONS

  • In a blender or food processor, blend the cantaloupe until it is smooth. Strain half of the blended cantaloupe through sieve to remove the pulp, leave the other half as is.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with all the cantaloupe puree, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave. Shake well.
  • On a small dish, mix together the sugar and salt. Using a slice of lime, wipe around the rim of two glasses. Dip the rim of the glasses into the sugar/salt mixture. Fill both glasses with ice. Pour cantaloupe margarita into the glasses. Serve immediately.
