  • 2apples, diced about 2 cups
  • 12 cupdried cranberries or 1/2cupraisins
  • 12 cup chopped pecans
  • 13 cupbrown sugar or 2 1/2tablespoonsbrown sugar substitute
  • 12 teaspoonkosher salt
  • 2mediumbananas, sliced

    DIRECTIONS

  • In a medium size saucepan over medium heat, combine the oats, milk, apples, cranberries, pecans, salt and brown sugar.   Cook, stirring frequently, until the oatmeal has thickened.   This should take about 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the bananas.  Scoop into bowls and serve with milk and additional brown sugar if needed.Enjoy!
